Lesson 2: Common Cardiac Diseases At the end of Lesson 2 you will know the causes and symptoms of prevalent cardiac diseases and how they are diagnosed: 1) coronary artery disease, 2) heart defects, 3) inflammation and infection, 4) cardiomyopathy, and 5) arrhythmias. Lesson 3: Prevention and Treatments for Common Cardiac Disease At the end of Lesson 3 you will know the common recommendations for prevention and treatment of prevalent cardiac disease: 1) coronary artery disease, 2) heart defects, 3) inflammation and infection, 4) cardiomyopathy, and 5) arrhythmias. This will include dietary, pharmaceutical, and surgical interventions.
